Any individual having a 12-digit Aadhaar Card can easily apply for Aadhaar PVC Card using the registered mobile number. In case, one does not have the registered mobile number he/she can also use a non-registered mobile number to order Aadhaar PVC Card.

Steps to Download Aadhaar PVC Card

You can easily order an Aadhaar PVC Card via the UIDAI website using your Aadhaar Number or Enrolment ID the steps are:

• On the website of UIDAI, click on Order Aadhaar PVC Card in the My Aadhaar section

The new Aadhaar PVC Card can be ordered online. The process of ordering online is stated below –

• Visit the Official Aadhaar Website and click on ‘Order Aadhaar PVC’ under the ‘My Aadhaar’ tab.
• Then enter your ‘Aadhaar Number’ or ‘Virtual ID’ number or ‘EID’ number. Enter the ‘Security Code’ and click on the ‘Send OTP’ or ‘Send TOTP’ button. Click on ‘Send TOTP’ to receive Time-Based-One-Time
• Password (TOTP) on your mobile. Enter the OTP received on your mobile number. Choose the ‘Terms and Conditions’ box and click on the ‘Submit’ button.
  • Note: You can order your Aadhaar PVC card by using your registered mobile number or alternate mobile number to receive OTP. If you don’t have a registered mobile number, then tick the box ‘My

• Your payment receipt is generated. You can download the receipt in pdf form by clicking on the ‘Download Payment Receipt’ button.

What are the different forms of Aadhaar?

There are four different forms of Aadhaar issued by UIDAI. They are Aadhaar letter, eAadhaar, mAadhaar and Aadhaar PVC card. The Aadhaar letter is a paper-based laminated letter which is sent to residents in case of new enrollment or mandatory biometric update.

eAadhaar is the electronic form of Aadhaar which can be downloaded by the residents. mAadhaar is the digital form of Aadhaar which can be installed on mobile phones. How many days will it take to receive the Aadhaar PVC card?

After completing the application process on the Official Aadhaar Website, UIDAI will give the physical Aadhaar PVC card to the Department of Post (DoP) within five working days of the receipt of the request. Hence it excludes the date on which the request is made for obtaining the Aadhaar PVC card. It will then be delivered to the individual through the Speed Post service of the Department of Post. What are the charges to be paid for the Aadhaar PVC card?
